Pinoy Popcast episode 4 got into a more serious, socially relevant discussion by dissecting a brief cause and effect analysis of the recent typhoon Ondoy in light of motivation and governance.

But prior to this, August, September and October remain to be the top three months where major blogger-related events happen. The podcast reminisced on the major events like the Emerging Influential Blogs 2009 and Let's Go Surfing anniversary charity project in August, the second Wordcamp Philippines last September, and the recently held Philippine Blog Awards 2009. Resident podcasters Azrael Coladilla for AzraelColadilla.com, Jonel Uy for LetsGOSago.net and Ed Arevelo for Music Picks were awardees and finalists themselves, including Pinoy Popcast for the Podcast category.

UPcoming events include the VIsayas and Mindanao leg of Philippine Blog Awards and the Mindanao Blogging Summit.

Special guests who shared their experiences and thoughts on typhoon Ondoy were Lloyd Luna, the renowned Motivational speaker, and fellow blogger Dani Salansan.

Finally, details for LetsGoSago.net’s first year anniversary project - “Let’s Go Surfing” are out. The charity surfing clinic for bloggers and beginner surfers is all set for August 15-16 in La Union, a week after Sago turns 1.

It will be held at the Billabong Surf School and San Juan Surf Resort in Urbiztondo Beach, San Juan, La Union.

Then Ed promoted the upcoming events, which includes the Pussycat Dolls Doll Domination: Live In Manila.

On the commentary part, everyone got the chance to speak out about Making Money Online in everyone’s own words from each’s experience.
And for the episodes highlight, I, The Singing Blogger, and Mica get the chance to perform the song Careless Whisper on live stream! Finally, we were able to perform the song on the same room! Haha!
